Hi! Our names are Carolyn and Anthony Pizzonia and we are the owners of Home Sweet Schoolhouse. We are a NYS licensed Day Care Center. Carolyn graduated from Dominican College with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary education and attended Mount St. Mary College earning 36 post graduate credits in literacy. Carolyn's last teaching position came from a school in the Bronx. She was a teacher for 3 and 4 year olds who had many different challenges. It was an experience that she will never forget. We have two school age boys that attend Minisink Valley schools.

     HSSH is a daycare facility that emphasizes in teaching and learning in a nurturing, supportive environment. Our goal is to work very hard teaching your child basic skills that will be applied in his/her later school years. Children will learn to use computers, learn numbers, colors, shapes and letters. Other areas of concentration include critical thinking skills (problem solving) , receptive and expressive language ( listening and thinking) along with gross and fine motor skills. Children will be taught through a variety of mediums, such as puppets, songs, multi-sensory activities and finger plays.
